Here’s my home screen on my ASUS Transformer Prime. I’ve been tweaking it all weekend and think I’ve finally settled on this. I started by mimicking my iPad2 setup, loading the page up with app icon shortcuts, but then thought better of it and decided to take advantage of Android’s live widget capabilities.
The weather is Beautiful Widgets; the calendar and Facebook/Twitter timeline are part of the Android Pro Widgets package. The live wallpaper is ASUS’s own My Water II (the water height shows the battery level).

This to me is what’s exciting about Android tablets compared to my iPad 2 - dynamic information live on the screen with quick access to functions like posting a tweet or creating a calendar entry. So much better than a static screen of icons and folders.
